WSU ERP Project
Background
Washington State University has begun an ERP project (Oracle/PeopleSoft) to centralize all of the university's records. This project includes a portal, data warehouse (OBIEE), and various Campus Solution pieces.
What we did
We implemented the design for the new portal and subsequent pieces of the ERP. The bulk of our work included manipulating application packages, which are used to compile and build the branding and are completely HTML table based. We converted many of these tables into divs and list-items.
The tools
The design was implemented using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PeopleCode, and PeopleTools. We worked entirely within PeopleSoft's application packages, components, records, pages, headers, footers, and templates.
